Tractors

Memorial Day Weekend in Taylor has become 'Trapper Days' (www.trapperdays.com). They have some cool stuff to see if you have never been. We went today for the tractor show and parade. Luke
loves tractors and they had so pretty cool ones too! We even found a friend with his tractor there and he let Luke sit on it, he loved that! They also had a pit bull pulling contest where they hook the dog up to a harness and put weight on a sled and see how far then can pull. Its pretty cool to see the heart that some of those 'mean and vicious' dogs have! There was also a tractor there pulling barrels that had been cut so that the kids could ride in them. I didn't think Luke would like it for very long so I was just gonna let him ride in it while they turned around but he ended up taking 2 rides! I could barely get him out! It was only 60 degrees and spitting rain occasionally but what a day for a tractor loving boy!

stubborn baby

For the last...i don't even know how many dr. appointments.....I have not progressed. When I say that I mean....I could literally be pregnant forever if I was not having a c-section! At least with Luke I dilated to a 2! I know I already have the c-section scheduled and all but if I did happen to go into labor now that I am past 37 weeks they would just go ahead and not make me wait. So I was hoping, but my dr said not to hold my breath. Maybe this little one is going to be just as stubborn (if not more) than his big brother! Oh Boy!

Boys, boys, boys

Lucky for me, Luke has such a love for his Daddy! Especially when ice cream is involved! I just love walking in from being gone and finding scenes like this.......even if my 2 year old is eating ice cream at bed time on my really nice couch instead of at the table where it is safe! Gosh I sure love these 2 and can hardly wait to make it a trio!

Full Throttle

If you have ever met Luke, this picture will make your blood run cold, break into a cold sweat, or make you want to run for the hills! But the can was empty, everyone take a deep breath!

Happy Mothers Day!

What a lucky mom I am! I can't believe this was my 3rd mothers day being a mom! It is crazy! Anyway, it was fun. Caleb made a very yummy breakfast. He is such a sweetheart. He made pancakes and sausage and bacon and eggs and even made this strawberry sauce/syrup for the pancakes, yum. Then he made dinner for us too!
When I went to pick up Luke from nursery after church they had made paper flowers to give to all their moms, I think the teachers had made them already and just put the kids names on them, but I think Luke picked out the prettiest ones for me! He was so excited about them that I never really got to hold them until I was getting him out of the car when we got home, and that was only because he needed 2 hands to climb out!

6 years? Where has the time gone?

Wow, I can not believe Caleb and I have been married for 6 years! It really seems to have gone by too fast. It has been fun and there have been some struggles, but I can honestly say that I wouldn't change any of it. Together we have grown closer and learned a lot and I look forward to spending eternity with my wonderful, sweet husband, Caleb. And while I am pretty sure that he will never read this, (he is against the whole blogging thing, because blog isn't a real word....you just have to know him :o) I can say without a doubt that I married the perfect man for me. He can sure be goofy, and sometimes doesn't know when to quit....but he is such a good daddy and supportive husband, and I couldn't have asked for more!

Here is a run down of the last 6 years......

7 moves
1 kiddo (with one more less than a month away)
2 dogs
1 quad
1 Harley Davidson
1 house fire
4 deer
1 elk
countless coyotes, prairie dogs, and other varmints
and way too many guns to mention or bother counting

YEAH! THE DATE HAS BEEN SET!

I met with my surgeon today (Dr. Tindall) to set the date for my c-section. I was hoping that he could do it a day or two before my due date because of Caleb's shift work but I wasn't expecting it to be a whole week before! The official date is set for June 3rd! I didn't realize until my mom said something but that is exactly a month from tomorrow! HOLY COW! I can't believe that its now that close! Crazy! I am excited though, I got out the boxes of Luke's baby clothes the other night, he was so big but those clothes are so tiny! Luke loves to look at the little socks and giggle. Silly boy.
